Abstract

According to Rodrigues et al, official futsal matches have an average intensity of 86.4 + 3.8% HRmax, VO2max level 79.2 + 9.0% and requires 18.0 + 2.2 kcal/minute of energy. UNW Futsal UKM currently has a total of +48 members who like one (1) coach and one (1) goalkeeping coach.

The results of interviews and observations that have been made show that UKM member athletes do not yet know about the pattern/schedule and type of diet when facing training or competition and proper fluid consumption habits during practice or competition.

Methods include lectures and question and answer activities as well as sample menu demos for athletes. The activity begins with anthropometric measurements of athletes. Monitoring and evaluation is carried out qualitatively by observing activities and interviews with activity participants

The activity went smoothly and the participants were enthusiastic during the series of activities. Participants asked about what types of food and distractions are recommended for athletes and the amount of fluid that should be consumed during training and competition. This activity needs to be followed regularly by evaluating and monitoring the nutritional status and eating patterns of athletes.
