PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN PMT PANGAN LOKAL KREASI PUDDING SUSU TEMULAWAK DI POSYANDU BALITA DUSUN SETURUN

Over the past five years, stunting rates in Indonesia have remained high. According to the Survey on the Status of Nutrition in Indonesia (SSGI) conducted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022, the prevalence of stunting reached 21.6% in that year (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2023). In the previous year, in 2021, the prevalence of stunting reached 24.4%, with a significant decrease of 2.8% in the last two years. This training aims to provide mothers with skills in processing PMT in an effort to improve the nutritional status of toddlers in Manggihan Village through the utilization of local resources, namely temulawak and cow's milk for making complementary foods. A Community Rural Participatory (CRP) approach was applied to involve the community, especially mothers of children under five, in the entire implementation process. The results of this activity show an increase in the knowledge and skills of the participants, which can be seen from the enthusiasm and accuracy of answering questions from the implementer. In addition, by empowering mothers with the knowledge and skills to prepare nutritious PMT meals using local ingredients, this initiative contributes to improving children's health and well-being.
