PELATIHAN AGROFLOAT MINA PADI APUNG DALAM KETAHANAN PANGAN DI DESA KEBONDOWO, KECAMATAN BANYUBIRU KABUPATEN SEMARANG

The AGROFLOAT Program: Smart Farming-Based Floating Rice Pond Innovation was implemented by the PPK Ormawa Bhumijala team of Ngudi Waluyo University in Kebondowo Village, Banyubiru District, Semarang Regency. This program was motivated by the problem of waterlogging due to the ebb and flow of Rawa Pening which hampers agricultural productivity, so that farmers can only harvest once a year. This activity aims to introduce floating rice pond technology as an innovative alternative in optimizing flooded land while increasing community food security. The activity method uses the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach that involves the active participation of the community and stakeholders. The implementation stages consist of material socialization, participatory discussions, training on making floating rice pond media, and visitation in the form of program inauguration. Participants in the activity included village officials, farmer groups, representatives of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Banyubiru Agricultural Extension Center (BPP), and academics from Ngudi Waluyo University. The results of the activity showed high enthusiasm from the farmer groups and stakeholders who attended. Socialization and training successfully increased the community's technical understanding of floating rice mina, while the program's inauguration demonstrated concrete support from the village government, sub-district, agriculture office, universities, and the private sector. The implementation evaluation confirmed that this innovation is relevant for Kebondowo Village, with prospects for sustainability through strengthening farmer group institutions and cross-sector partnerships. Overall, the AGROFLOAT Floating Rice Mina program has had a positive impact, increasing farmer knowledge and skills, strengthening stakeholder collaboration, and providing an opportunity to establish Kebondowo Village as a model for smart farming in Semarang Regency. This innovation aligns with efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly sustainable food security.

Program AGROFLOAT: Inovasi Mina Padi Apung Berbasis Smart Farming dilaksanakan oleh tim PPK Ormawa Bhumijala Universitas Ngudi Waluyo di Desa Kebondowo, Kecamatan Banyubiru, Kabupaten Semarang. Program ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan genangan air akibat pasang surut Rawa Pening yang menghambat produktivitas pertanian, sehingga petani hanya dapat melakukan panen satu kali dalam setahun. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan teknologi mina padi apung sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam mengoptimalkan lahan tergenang sekaligus meningkatkan ketahanan pangan masyarakat. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dan stakeholder. Tahapan pelaksanaan terdiri dari sosialisasi materi, diskusi partisipatif, pelatihan pembuatan media mina padi apung, serta visitasi dalam bentuk peresmian program. Peserta kegiatan meliputi perangkat desa, kelompok tani, perwakilan Dinas Pertanian, Perikanan dan Pangan, Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) Banyubiru, serta sivitas akademika Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari kelompok tani dan stakeholder yang hadir. Sosialisasi dan pelatihan berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman teknis masyarakat mengenai mina padi apung, sementara peresmian program memperlihatkan dukungan nyata dari pemerintah desa, kecamatan, dinas pertanian, perguruan tinggi, serta pihak swasta. Evaluasi pelaksanaan menegaskan bahwa inovasi ini relevan diterapkan di Desa Kebondowo, dengan prospek keberlanjutan melalui penguatan kelembagaan kelompok tani dan kemitraan lintas sektor. Secara keseluruhan, program AGROFLOAT Mina Padi Apung memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani, penguatan kolaborasi stakeholder, serta peluang menjadikan Desa Kebondowo sebagai model percontohan smart farming di Kabupaten Semarang. Inovasi ini sejalan dengan upaya pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya ketahanan pangan berkelanjutan.
